Celebrating Black History Month

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I believe every child has capabilities, talents, and strengths; sometimes, all it takes is motivation and the availability of proper equipment that is in working condition. The students in my classes strive for excellence. They work hard and they are excited and eager to learn. They all inherently care about one another and continually make an effort to improve in all aspects.

As an educator, it is my passion to help my students achieve success.

Having the proper equipment to practice our games is essential in physical education. I hope to get some Hula Hoops for my students that will allow them to participate in various activities in physical education and learn the necessary skills. The sit and reach box and the health posters will also enhance our experience in physical education.

My Project

My students can enhance their experience in Physical Education when we receive these items. Our current hula hoops are slightly bent and that prevents the students from enjoying their activities to the fullest. We will soon implement the sit and reach measurements and having a proper sit and reach measurement box will also ensure an enhanced experience. The health posters are going to help in getting us motivated to make healthy choices and set lifelong health and fitness goals. Our students will be delighted to hear about this particular project and will always be thankful to our generous donors.
