This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am completing a 200 hour Yoga Teacher and SEL Wellness Facilitator for Educators training program. I am very eager to bring these tools and practices to my students so that they can enhance their well being, build skills managing their emotions, and create stronger, healthier relationships with themselves and others now and for the rest of their lives.

I plan to offer free wellness classes to my learning community and am in need of supplies, such as yoga mats, blocks, straps, and blankets to provide my students a high quality experience that is accessible and meaningful.
