Promoting Wellness and Building Our School Community With Legos!

Help me give my students Lego Bricks to use during our Social Emotional Learning time.

My Project

Help our students build relationships with each other and the community by building with Legos during our very important Social Emotional Learning time. Our students are always working hard on their academics but it is just as important to work hard on our relationships with our fellow students as well as with our community. Our SEL time is a valuable time at school and we are beginning a lunch time team building program so that students can build relationships with each other as well as finding was to "PAY IT FORWARD" in our school community. We are starting a Lunch Time Community Club to learn ways to BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY.

Bringing Legos into the fold can help students who may be having a difficult time expressing themselves, find a way to not only build with Legos but build relationships as well, our GOAL is to BUILD our Community Club to enrich the lives of our students, and ALL STUDENTS within our community.

We want to promote friendships and end bullying and divisiveness with our peers. Brand new sets of Legos and Carrying Cases will help us organize and transport our legos to different areas of school where we can feel most comfortable getting creative. Creativity has been proven to promote wellness and strong relationships. We want our school community to be one of Social and Emotional wellness!!! Time is limited during this time, so keeping our Legos organized while we learn will be an amazing help to us! Help us PAY IT FORWARD!!!
