Help me give my students resistance bands to ensure their safety when stepping foot on the softball field. These will be used as training tools to build speed, agility, explosive power, balance and endurance.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My players are from the inner city of Chicago, just down the block from the biggest high school in the city. While we don't have all of the same resources they do, our school gets by with what we have. We do not have our own fields or multiple indoor facilities for our players to practice or compete in.
Our players are passionate and thrive to be better, not only as players, but as humans.
They show up every day, whether practice is in the morning, at night or on the weekends. They're committed young women who share a common interest. They share the love for softball.
My Project
The donations to this project will help players because they currently do not have the correct equipment to help them be the best softball players they can be. The resistance bands will be used to make sure the players are proactive about their health and wellness when stepping foot on the field.
These donations will help the girls improve on the field because they will learn the importance of being prepared physically when setting foot onto the field.
The resistance bands will be used for stretching before practices and games, as well as strength training throughout the season. The ultimate goal is to ensure that they do not hurt their arms. Proper care will allow players to stay healthy throughout the season.
