I have a class of 25 wonderful 5 and 6 year olds. They are all eager to learn and excited to come to school every day.
My students come from a diverse urban community.
We have students from many different backgrounds and cultures including Brazil, Spain, Portugal, and Nepal. Our class also includes several mainstreamed Deaf students. It is a joy to watch all the students work together help each other to learn about the world they live in! I am so excited to see the social and academic growth of this group of children.
Providing hands on access to all areas of instruction is so beneficial at this age. All of these materials will help my students in many different areas of their day.
Hands on learning help students in all parts of their day!
Letter and number stamps and sentence builder game promote literacy and writing at all levels of development. Coin stamps promote a knowledge of money, counting, and addition. Magnetic building tiles promote creativity and an interest in the field of STEM. Clear tubs allow convenient and organized storage while still being able to see what is inside so the students can be independent in accessing the materials they need!
