My Project

Kindness is a choice and kindness is the most important value to learn throughout the entire year. This project will help my fourth grade students learn more about kindness in practical ways and spread it within our classroom, school, and community.

The "Kindness Cart" containing art supplies and craft kits will help students create beautiful cards, notes, key chains, and other creative arts that promote kindness, compassion, and well-being.

The cart will be a powerful resource for students who want to reach out to a classmate who seems down, a resident in a nursing home, or thank a person they appreciate in the community. This project embodies the spirit of the monthly Service Stars mission by nurturing the physical, emotional, and social well-being of my fourth graders.
