My Students
Students in my first-grade classroom, located in the foothills of Maine, come to school every day
eager to learn.
Within the three small communities that make up our school population there isn't a single
stop light or any large business. Despite the rural setting, we strive every day to provide the best education
we can for our students.
I am excited to work with each student, to meet their educational needs and help them grow academically.
These amazing students are inquisitive, creative, and thoughtful in their learning! They love hands-on,
active, engaging projects and challenges. Even at six years old, they are sophisticated in their learning and
with my guidance they can stay organized to share their learning.
My Project
Students in my first grade classroom will benefit from this drying rack, by having a spot to place valuable creations. We enjoy doing lots of hands on activities that need a safe place to dry, a place where they won't get ruined. This rack will help us stay organized and will hold a variety of projects.
This rack will not only hold projects that are finished, but will also help to hold in-process pieces of work.
Unfortunately, we run out of time when working on certain projects and we don't have a spot to put those unfinished pieces of work. This will help tremendously.
