Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

For my 4th grade Englisher Learner students near East LA, I love making Power Point presentations to accompany my lessons in Science, Social Studies, and to give them pictures of unknown things found in great literature. I love seeing their lightbulbs light up when they can picture exactly what a sarcophogus is, or see an animation of how sedimentary rock is formed. Right now, I need to share a projector with the rest of the school. That means, I rarely get to show the students these Power Points when it would be most beneficial, I must wait until the projector is free. Please help my students' lightbulbs shine more consistantly by donating a projector! Thank you!
