My students are smart, caring and always ready to solve problems. Our school has many dedicated teachers who provide rigorous instruction to students in pre-kindergarten to fifth grade. Our goal is to motivate, challenge and prepare our students for success in high school, college and their future careers.
My third grade class is comprised of twenty five creative and hardworking students from diverse backgrounds.
They come to school each day excited to learn and be with one another. Some of their interests include drawing, reading, football, soccer, and jumping rope! My students look forward to coming to school, and I'd like to keep it that way!
My Project
I have been using the projector way more now that I have students in the classroom again. Right now, I set up the projector in the middle of the room, on a desk, where there are wires everywhere. I have tried to use tape to secure the wires to the ground so no students trip over them, but it is still a worry in my mind.
Having a rolling cart for the projector will make it easier to move the projector around as well as store it on the side to give us more space when we are not using it!
I won't have to worry about anyone tripping on wires and I will have a lot more space to walk around the room to help my students! I can roll the projector out when I play read alouds for the class as well as when I am teaching math lessons. Then I can roll it on the side of the room during independent work time. Thank you for all your support and for making our classroom a safer place.
