I teach Physical Setting/Chemistry course at an urban, inner-city performing arts high school. Every day I walk into work and realize how lucky I am to have such a great job with fantastic students. With the new Common Core State Standards coming into effect, I am faced with new teaching challenges to reach my students in the most effective way possible. Your support can help me achieve my goal of becoming the best and most innovative teacher that I can be in order to guide my students towards their academic success in science.

My Project
My students need a projector so that we can utilize our classroom resources. PowerPoint slides or SMARTboard slides can help visual learners to understand the topics. We can use your donation to buy a portable screen and convert our regular classroom to a multifunctional resource room. Students with vision problems need your support to take advantage of learning science through visuals. We also need a projector adjustable cart so that we can move around the screens for all students during presentations. Students can utilize these materials to take class notes. Your donation will help not only 170 students of mine but many more in the future.
