Help me give my students an awesome experience in the classroom with this brand new projector! This projector would really help my kids see things better in my room because my current projector is broken.
I am a teacher at NFES. I teach 5th and 6th grade Inclusion Special Education. My students are the greatest kids you will ever meet. They are kind, caring, and just want someone to notice them and how hard they work.
My passion in life is building children up and that's what I get to do every day!
My students are very hands-on and visual learners, therefore I really try to go out of my way to help create posters, write down their notes so they can have a copy they can read and so much more. I want my classroom to be a place they feel like anything is possible and a place that encourages learning.
The students at my school are very limited to real life experiences and need more exposure to the rest of the world. I want them to be able to leave knowing more than just how to spell something, but also know that they are worth more to me than just a score. They will be our future and I have a passion to try and plant seeds in them to help them grow as a person and not just their score.
My Project
This projector would make a huge difference in my students learning because I would be able to teach them step by step on a bigger screen. Getting this projector would not only be great to have, but it would also give my students the opportunity to try out new things on the board independently and allow them more hands-on experience. This would also give me the chance to really teach them how to use the different tools that are useful on a computer because they need to be able to navigate the internet safely. Having this projector would make it possible for my students to actually learn better because of the visual aid it provides them.
This projector would also give me the ability to show my student videos, examples, and so much more because of its capabilities.
