My Students

Our students have the luxury to attend a school that encourages and promotes the usage of technology in the classroom. Unfortunately, due to the high cost of LCD projectors, we are unable to match the number of projectors to the number of SMART Boards that the school has.

The students at our school are bright and promising individuals.

They have the ability to really make a difference in the world if they are given a fair shot. Our school promotes a deep understanding of technology and seeks to motivate students through interactive and multimedia applications. They love to be involved in the lesson and show how capable they are of being successful.

My Project

Motivating students in a mathematics classroom is difficult. Students often fail to see the connection from the classroom into their own world. In an effort to bridge that gap, I would love to use the SMART Board and all of its capabilities every day. In order for a SMART Board to run, an LCD projector is required. Having a projector to use daily would help my students tremendously. The children are better engaged when they can see how well technology ties in to the lesson. I will be able to connect to he Internet and prove to the students that math does exist everywhere. It is so important for them to be exposed to this technology in the safety of the classroom.

Any donations towards this project will help my students exceed their potential.

Using technology in the classroom and truly inspire students that may have otherwise been left behind. They will have interactive and engaging lessons to learn from every day with the help of this projector.
