This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students have very little access to technology, and very few ways to engage with multimedia learning. They also have no way to watch the films that they are creating as alternatives to book reports.

The 2nd graders of attend a public renaissance school in North Philadelphia.

They are extremely energetic, creative, and bright. They put their minds to work inside and outside of classroom by engaging with meaningful texts and experiences and thinking critically about them.

My Project

Your donation will support the purchase of an awesome digital projector and all of the supplies necessary to mount it in the classroom. We will use the projector to watch videos that I create and that the students create to aid in learning. We will also use it to view the excel spreadsheet that tracks earnings in our classroom economy.

This project is important because it will give my students access to important interactive visuals.

They will be able to view videos that I create, that they create, and they will be able to view spreadsheets that track our classroom economy.
