This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach 11- and 12-year-old sixth graders who strive each day to be inquirers, open-minded, thinkers, knowledgeable, caring, risk-takers, principled, reflective, balanced and communicators. They value these core learner profiles so they can become well-rounded individuals.
They are part of a small middle school, but their academic achievements go above and beyond.
My classroom is a place where they are able to see their designs, inventions or creations come to life! I want them to know their ideas are important and valuable for all to see.
My Project
We would like to have an Apple TV for our classroom so students can present their projects and ideas on the classroom board. We have so many presentations and projects to show everyone, but each time we have to use a dongle cord. We have a few cords for the entire school, and zccess to them is not always guaranteed.
With the Apple TV, students can instantly show their projects and bring their ideas to light!
The Apple TV can also help me as a teacher, so I can show students the curriculum they need in an instant from my own iPad.
