This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My STEM classroom is home to Kindergarten through 5th grade students. Students come to my classroom for in-depth exploration of science, technology, engineering, and math. The classroom is extremely diverse with students from many different cultures.
In my classroom, students have fun working collaboratively on hands-on projects.
They are using their imaginations to create new and fun things every day. Students use their hands, as well as technology to research the world around. Their curiosity is leading them to new discoveries and fueling them to grow in their knowledge.
My Project
I teach STEM to grades K-5. I see six classes a day and have prepared six different lessons for each grade each day. I would love to have more chart paper and EXPO markers on hand for students to be able to use for projects that they are completing in my classroom.
With this chart paper they will be able to work collaboratively on large scale projects to artistically display their understanding of concepts.
These sheets of chart paper will also be used to create anchor charts that will be displayed throughout my classroom. These anchor charts will help display need to know information to students on a daily bases.
