My students need 6 phonics and reading comprehension items including Word Family Flip Books, a Word Family Magnets Center, and Hot Dots Power Pens.

I teach 2nd-4th graders with severe learning disabilities, mostly in the areas of reading decoding and comprehension.

Most students learn using "The Power of 7" rule which means that if they can repeat or practice something in 7 ways, it's generally "learned." For my students, it takes more than 7 tries, so the more opportunities to practice, the better for them.

Because of this, my students benefit most from multi-sensory reading materials...the more senses they can use to practice skills that have been directly taught, the better they remember and retain the learning.

Your help will make is possible for my students to have multiple opportunities to practice reading words and comprehending passages.
