This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Teaching middle school is new to me, but my students make it a true delight! They are "typical teens" in that they love to spend time with their friends (they spend even more time on their electronic devices), and they have an uncanny way of teaching me about myself during my grand attempt to teach them.
In such a short time, I have learned to listen more and ask fewer questions to meet my students' needs in ways that are most meaningful to them.
My Project
As a middle school librarian, I’m on a forward-thinking mission
I strive to stay on top of my game
Which leads me to having a futuristic vision
What do I need? What do I need to do to get it?!
I want progressive, refreshing and original associated with my name
But, in this journey called the life of a library media specialist...
Technology throws a tantrum
WiFi willfully and wantonly waxes and wanes
Oftimes, the Internet’s interrupted
Even the equipment is to blame
Though Chaos works hard to destroy our cosmic plan
And because sometimes there’s no telling when the network will be up and running again
It doesn’t mean that darkness will defeat us
There’s light that will shine upon us
Here’s something for you to better hear my cries: …---...
Yes, that’s Morse code--SOS. In Library language, it means “supplement our supplies”
Please support Project Projector by helping us secure a portable one that can be loaned to a teacher when hers unexpectedly dies
