I teach sweet little first graders in a low socioeconomic area. The population of my students is 97% minority and EL. All of the students at my school receive free lunch. Regardless of my students backgrounds, advantages, and disadvantages, the students always come to school ready and willing to learn.
As my student's teacher, I want to be able to provide learning opportunities and experiences that many of them may not otherwise have.
I want to open their eyes to the numerous possibilities they have in life. I want to engage them so much so that they crave and seek learning in all areas of life. With the assistance of funding from Donors Choose, I know I can create successful members of society.
Every classroom teacher needs to print resources and materials for his/her students. Having an ecotank printer to print my lesson plans and materials for my students will allow me to deliver engaging lessons.
My students need hard copies of materials especially during these quarantined times where we are forced to learn from home and rely primarily on technology to complete our work.
Having a printer that can print thousands of pages will assist me in being able to print and deliver engaging lessons and activities that my students can compete with pencil and paper. With generosity from donors such as yourselves I can make this possible.
