My Students

Hurricane Ida and Coronavirus has put a start/stop relationship with the school year. The students are struggling to find a sense of normalcy as they once again return to the school after the devastation of Hurricane Ida. With the new calendar out, these students will now also be losing part of their summer break.

My Project

Students will use bankers boxes to organize their materials and papers by nine weeks and through out the semester. This will allow students to practice viable organization techniques through the subject of math. In addition, papertowels will allow us to whipe down the materials to help keep students safe from Covid-19.

The combination of organization and staying safe will lead to a more successful group of individuals.

These skills are very important as the students move through schoool and into the working environment. So many kids lose their papers and supplies as the year goes on.
