Recently we were fortunate enough to get a printer for the classroom so that the students can create and print out reports. However, we were only given one black and one tri-color ink cartridge, so we truly cannot do a great deal of printing. A donation of more ink would enable the students to truly get into the habit of creating top-notch projects and would prepare them very nicely for their future. For example, in late October, the students will be participating in a science fair that will require them to create attractive display boards. Since many of my students to not have printing capabilities at home, boosting our classroom printing capabilities would help many of them create better projects and displays. Moreover, the students will also be constructing young author's books...these too would be greatly enhanced through the use of computer and print technology.
