Project Hygiene: Hygiene Products for Pre-Teen Girls & Boys
Help me give my students hygiene products. I am asking for menstrual pads and deodorant to be distributed to our sixth through eighth students for general hygiene as needed.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I work in a school where where 95% of our students get free and reduced lunch as well as 92% of our students come from low income households. We also have a high population of Native American and Migrant students. Even though a huge precentage of our student population comes from low income families we support each other through strong relational trust, as we engage in equitable and supportive relationships that allow for both personal and academic excellence for all. We foster a positive climate of compassion, unity, and service by conducting ourselves with integrity and respect, ensuring that all TMS community members are valued and cared for and have access to a high quality, relative, equitable education. We thank you for investing in our students education as they are on their quest to be college and career ready.
My Project
I am asking for menstrual pads and deodorant to be distributed to our sixth through eighth grade students as needed. I have asked for a variety of thickness in pads that way we can meet the needs of all of our students. I also asked for girls and boys deodorant as we enter spring sports and the weather getting hot they will need to keep up their hygiene up. I am hoping that the amount of pads and deodorant I have asked for will be more than enough to make it through the rest of the year.
As pre-teen students sometimes they are not prepared for the materials needed for their hygiene needs.
