My Students

My students are mini scientists, mathematicians, explorers, and readers. They love to learn new things and are always asking to look up more information on a topic. They also love to connect their learning each day to their lives outside of school. For example, the topic mammals may lead to discussions on their pets at home, favorite animals, and places they have seen mammals themselves.

My students light up when they are able to use technology.

I would like to bring these experiences into the classroom even more as another tool to spark their interest in learning.

My Project

These five chromebooks will allow my students to research topics of interest to them. They will become better technology users for their futures and will learn how to take rough draft copies of their papers to all the way to final copies by developing editing skills. These chromebooks will extend knowledge of classroom topics though video, educational games, and skills practice.

My students will use these machines on a daily basis.

Chromebooks will help my students grow, meet their individual learning needs, and make them into independent learners.

The use and instruction of technology is key for the future of all students. With the skills taught when using chromebooks, students will be better prepared for both the next grade level and their entire lives.
