My Students

Hello and thank you for stopping by to learn more about us! Here at CHS we are part of the Center Program which is designed to best meet the needs of students with mild cognitive impairments. In this program, the students meet their academic requirements and have the opportunity to socialize with their peers around the school.

We learn best while actively moving around our classroom and getting our hands into the lesson (literally!).

Science is a great way to explore the world around us using hands-on activities and experiences to make connections to our every day lives for further understanding.

My Project

My students will use STEM skills and knowledge of physical science to put their learning in to action. We will work in small groups and take on the what we learned in the classroom to take our science learning outside of the classroom and in to the hands of the students as they work to show this knowledge for an egg drop challenge.

An egg drop challenge will bring real world learning the principles of physical science while making it a fun group project!

This STEM project will add an excitement to learn and encouragement to apply the skills the students learned in the classroom!
