My Students
All of our students range from moderate to severely autistic. Currently we have students in grades k, 1, 2, and 3. Four of our eight students are considered non-verbal and have no spontaneous speech. With that being said, our students are being taught in either small groups or one-on-one.
They are all so smart, and every single one is making progress!
We love all of our students, and we want them to succeed in absolutely all aspects of their lives!!
My Project
For our classroom we need lamination sheets, velcro, binder tabs and binders so that we can create specific communication boards and communication binders for our nonverbal students. Not all of our students are able to afford, or are eligible for an electronic communication device, so we usually make these things for them.
Our students need to be able to communicate, so these products will help us to give them the gift of communication!
We need good quality pencils for our classroom so that our students have good writing utensils to learn new things, and to learn to write new words.
