Help me give my students the materials that that they need to be successful. With social studies classes, we do many projects in class. It will make it much smoother to create using their imagination and creativity.
The thing I love most about my students is that they’re eager to learn. My students constantly ask questions about why events in history took place the way they did and we always have great discussions about that and how it connects to our future world. I typically have 10 or more students raising their hand to ask questions at any given time. My students go above and beyond on a regular basis and are such a joy to have in class.
My Project
U.S. History is a project based class and in World History, we do several projects as well. Having the poster board, construction paper, scissors, markers, pencil sharpeners, glue, etc. right at their fingertips in the classroom will make projects that much easier to create; especially for the families that cannot afford to go out and get that supplies at home. The goal when creating projects, is that students learn with hands on experiences that will help them remember in the future. We are often able to place their finished projects around the room so it’s a constant reminder for them about what they created and what they learned.
