Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
There is nothing more fun than learning with the addition of projects. Projects spice up any unit study.
Our school is one of the lowest performing in the district.
Most of our wonderful students come from very low economic backgrounds and can't afford the extras. The students in my class are very creative when it comes to project making. They love hands-on activities the most.
My Project
I am asking for project supplies to go with the theme units we will be starting after Christmas break. I have asked for items like presentation boards, book making kits and other craft kits. I have also asked for copy paper and card stock to make their projects come alive.
Please help my kids have the materials to create presentations about our country's history.
They will be creating posters, crafts and books during our unit studies on Native Americans, Civil War, Civil Rights and Explorers. Thanks for considering our project.
