My Students

Our students are curious and want to explore! They are scientists, artists, builders, creators and deep thinkers. Yes, they are Kindergartners! The best kind of learners; still so very interested in everything around them. They love to sing, dance, read, draw, paint, dig, write and observe.

Our school is a lovely, rural, Title I school with limited resources.

Our facilities and equipment are aging and many things need repair. We do the best with what we have, but I believe they deserve the best.

My Project

Cubetto is the friendly wooden robot that will teach my students the basics of computer programming through adventure and hands-on play.

21st Century skills require students to think differently.

They need early exposure to the language of coding. The Cubetto programmable Robot is specially designed for young learners to “crack the code!”

Having accesss to this type of activity in a fun, hands-on way is perfect for my curious students. I love that these materials are very tactile, involve mapping and story. There is no “screen” involved for this early education programming adventure!

Having access to this type of coding activity will provide my students with an early advantage.
