My Students

My students carry a full academic schedule and pair this with an atmosphere that encourages them to develop their musical talents. Any given day you will find my students engaged in impromptu concerts on campus, working on independent projects, or rehearsing in one of the many ensembles or groups.

To gain admission to the school, students were required to audition and demonstrate academic excellence.

All students must maintain an excellent academic standard and also compete in City, Region, State, and National level music competitions.

My Project

The mission of our High School for the Visual and Performing Arts is "To provide intensive training in the arts and academics."

Our school has a history of developing professional working musicians.

These professional grade instruments will allow our outstanding student musicians to deliver professional level performances as individuals and also as part of the large ensembles. Student musicians from our school have shown success at local, state, and national competitions. That type of success is simply not possible without high-quality equipment. Our school enrollment is growing and there simply are not enough high-quality instruments for all of the trumpet and clarinet players. There is nothing more frustrating for a student musician than an inadequate or failing instrument. These high-quality instruments will be maintained with care and will last to benefit many students for decades.
