This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am asking for donations in order to take online classes to better myself as an educator. I currently work in an elementary school with grades kindergarten through fifth grade. I work on reading skills in small groups and I believe that these phonics and spelling courses will help me better my skills to help my students read and succeed. The two classes that I am asking for are Focus on Phonics and Powerful Interventions to Guide Struggling Readers.

These classes are going to help me grow as an educator for my students.

The Professional Development Institute offers online courses for teachers to further their professional development and education.
