Innovation is the goal! In our classroom you will hear my students collaborating on projects. They talk about the driving questions, anchoring phenomenon, and create final deliverables. Project based learning is the goal in our classroom.
My students are scholars that are interested in STEAM education.
They come from a variety of levels of socioeconomic statuses. I need to prepare them for the 21st century that utilizes technology, collaboration, creativity, and communication. I would like to give all my students the possible opportunities to be excited about learning and be successful in the classroom.
My Project
The use of poster paper in my classroom with help the students see visually what the objectives are for the Unit. This will be a great visual for them to refer back to as we learn all the standards in our PBL units.
Students need a variety of visuals to learn and engage in the content, and providing them with poster paper helps them to learn visually.
Poster paper can also be used for multiple classroom instruction besides just anchor charts. Students can do a gallery walk, chalk talk, and/or presentation with the poster paper.
Poster paper and markers are great engaging strategies for students to show what they know. If they know the content is going to be posted and presented their level of engagement for the assignment increases in a positive way. Help us keep learning fun.
