My Students

I will be teaching 40 fourth grade students math and science this year! My classroom is built on a strong sense of community where learners feel comfortable to share ideas, work together, and have meaningful conversations to build their knowledge. I work with all of my students in small, differentiated groups on a daily basis in mathematics. My students work extremely hard on creating an interactive math notebook each year to build understanding and provide them with a reference to use throughout the year. I can’t wait to get started with my new students!

My Project

I have been working hard in my classroom to move furniture to create the best environment for my students. Last year my students sometimes became distracted by the loud chairs and I am hoping to fix that problem this year! My students will benefit from the chair socks to create a less disruptive learning environment as they move from one area of the room to another. My students will use the book bins to keep themselves organized and be able to keep their materials all in one spot. Thank you so much for your support! My students truly appreciate it!
