Producing High Quality Video Lessons for Student Success

Help me give my students high quality educational videos produced by their teacher. This laptop and the added accessories such as mouse and Apple pencil will help me provide the best quality educational videos for my students.

My Students

My students are a diverse population of 13 to 15 year old ninth grade public school students from the city and suburbs of Wilmington Delaware. These students are eager to learn Biology and are working to overcome the difficulties of remote learning.

My Project

This collection of a laptop computer and accessories will be used to more effectively create engaging content and prerecorded videos for students.  

Today's students need to be provided with a stimulating online experience to increase their engagement and aid in their learning.  

Breaking away from text based activities and including teacher produced videos will increase engagement and help to make learning biology more enjoyable for the students. Students respond better and have a deeper connection to the content when they see their own teacher hosting the content. I will be able to produce high quality video lessons on Ecology, Biochemistry and Cell Biology with embedded animations. When the student's own teacher produces course videos they are more effective than the edutainment videos currently found on sites like YouTube.   It is my hopes that such videos will have a profound effect on the student's understanding the concepts.
