My Students

I am the Media Specialist at a school with diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. I teach media as well as a problem solving course where students learn to work together. My students are inquisitive, active, and love to engage in new experiences. I am always looking for ways to challenge them.

Educational games are a terrific way to engage kids without them realizing they are actually learning.

My students are always excited when we play games and the more a game makes them work together, the better!

My Project

Breakout EDU games are challenging learning games that encourage students to use their critical thinking and problem solving skills. The games can be used to teach subjects like math, science, history, language arts, and media literacy. Classroom kits come with different sized locks, hidden contraptions, timers, keys, secret code readers and more.

The more opportunity students have to work together on a fun, engaging task, the better.

Breakout EDU boxes have students racing to beat a timer by reading clues. These games have been described as "one of the best ways to build community in a classroom." Problem solving and team work are some of the most important skills we can teach our students. Why not make it fun?
