My students need wobble chairs which will allow them to move while they work. Problem solving is one area that we are working on, and the BINGO game will be perfect to help in that effort.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach at a Title 1 school which means I teach students that come from a variety of different backgrounds including those from low income families. I also teach a lot of students from military families who experience many transitions. They are affected by the many changes of life, such as homelessness, deployment and a stressful home life to name a few. At school they feel safe. My students are eager and ready to learn when they walk through the door.
I want my students to be life long learners who will always strive for success.
I teach students Math but I also teach life lessons.
My Project
Why wobble chairs, they are so much better than the hard and heavy chairs our students have to endure. Wobble chairs are made of plastic and allow students to move without getting up. This allows the teacher to teach uninterrupted and students to learn without having to move.
BINGO, we are Problem Solving!
I want to help my students increase their problem solving skills and what better way than to do it in a fun and engaging way. BINGO is a classic game that children of all ages love and I am positive this will help my students in a major way.
