Help me give my students illustration media. In trying to bridge the gap between literature and art, they have been showing a lot of interest in illustrated novels.

My Project

My students are so inspired by what they enjoy, and many of them have found a love of reading through graphic novels. I would love to provide them with the artists tools to create work in this style.

There are so many ways to bridge different subjects with these materials!

Not only could we connect literature to art, but there is huge historical ramifications with the introduction and subsequent usage of these materials to discuss as well! Not to mention mathematical technical drawings.

As a self professed art history nerd and voracious reader, it is so heartwarming to see my students make connections and want to try new media. Please consider helping me fund this project to help bring quality graphic design media to my high school students.
