Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My bilingual students are full of joy and are eager to learn. Our classroom is a place of daily growth, constant challenge, and discovery.
My students will spend this year learning the foundations of reading, writing, and math in order to succeed in their lives.
They are quickly becoming independent learners. They are taking the information they have learned and applying it to multiple activities that allow them to use their imaginations and their own high level of thinking skills.
I am a teacher in a low-income/high-poverty school district. My students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom.
My Project
In my classroom, students can earn points when they follow expectations, model good behavior, participate in class, are team players, and do their best work. When they earn a certain number of points, they can choose a prize from the prize box.
The items from this project will go in the prize box.
We earn different reinforcers daily but the tangible reinforcement at the end of the week helps keep them motivated and eager to improve their classroom behaviors.
