This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love my students. They are the most fun-loving hard-working group of students a teacher could hope for. They come to school bright eyed, ready to learn and show what they know. Testing is a big part of the evidence needed to prove that these little mathematicians have learned the standards, but that is not always easy when the testing environment is full of little learners moving and causing distractions.

We need privacy boards to limit the amount of distractions in the classroom testing environment during testing days.

Students have to sit at their desk for long periods of time until every student has finished testing.That means every creak, squirm and movement is a distraction. The project materials I am asking for will assist in creating a testing environment that will give each student their own piece of privacy by allowing them to block out visual distractions from other students and allow them to focus and do their absolute best.

I am also asking for materials to replenish my classroom store for students the spend their hard earned Panther Bucks. Earning money is part of my classrooms, positive behavior implementation system. Students have been saving and are anxious to spend spend spend. Unfortunately my store resources are low and I no longer have the personal funds to replenish my classroom store due to increased prices in the real world. Please consider investing in our project to keep our classroom economy from going into recession, and to help my students celebrate mastery of concepts by contributing to our ideal testing environment.
