My Students

I have a large class of 33 diverse students this year! We are a back to basics school that has a focus on direct instruction. I also believe that children learn best when having fun and working with peers, so I like to add in any games and cooperative learning I can. My students are very kind and supportive of one another. They love to learn new things. Our favorite things to do are science projects. Right now we are growing Lima beans. Thank you for considering our class, we appreciate you!

My Project

Having privacy partitions to use during tests is very important. Right now my students use an extra folder to shield their test from other students view. Having a folder as a privacy shield only covers one side, and is often ineffective. Some children's folders have gotten damaged and are flimsy, so they do not stand well and fall through out the test. These privacy partitions are made of thicker more sturdy material. They have 3 solid sides that will keep a child's work private from the others around them. With these folders I can be sure that each child's work is their own.
