Privacy Partitions and Wipe Off Pockets

My students need privacy partitions. Flexible seating makes privacy an issue when taking tests. Students will be more comfortable if they feel like their test answers are private. Clear wipe off pockets will save money!

My Students

My students live in a small rural community. Many of their classroom resources have been handed down through the years and are worn out. These students were brought together this year from three separate schools into a grade alike building.

The resources available do not match my students' needs.

Many of the students are struggling readers or have attention issues. Our district is working hard to increase scores while maintaining a family atmosphere.

I believe all students deserve to have safe and inviting classrooms. I want my classroom to feel like home. I want my students to want to come to school.

My Project

Students will use the privacy partitions to keep their test answers private. Students will use the clear wipe off pockets to practice math facts and reading fluency. Being able to mark and wipe off writing will allow students to change answers and save the district money on resources.

Teachers have to find ways to maximize resources without sacrificing student needs.

This means finding ways to reuse materials. Laminating is costly and so is printing. Teachers are being asked to limit resources!

Students especially need privacy during testing. Some students need privacy partitions for behavior needs. Students will also use these during state testing.
