My Students

I am a school nurse in an elementary school in Independence, MO, ranging from Pre-K through 5th grade! My school has approximately 450 students and has a large percentage of students who qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. I love being a nurse and caring for all of my students, they bring so much joy to my day!

My Project

As a school nurse, it is important to keep health information private. This can be difficult with wandering eyes and students who need a little TLC. With the help of this project, I will be able to keep my computer screen, and the information on it, more private and protected.

Safety in my small clinic is very important.

The front of my desk is exposed and faces the entrance of the clinic, along with the cords for my computer and phone. Keeping them organized and tucked away will help to keep small, curious hands and fingers safe from injury.
