Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My 4th grade students are the best! They come from various backgrounds, but are all hardworking and eager to learn. Most of these students have economic hardships, yet come to school each day and give their all. I plan to motivate them day-by-day to become a better version of themselves. These students love, and work best with hands-on activities, and pay close attention to all sorts of visuals they are provided with. I plan to work hard in order to provide them with engaging materials to work with everyday.
My Project
The materials that have been requested will allow my students to have a designated area to go store their work in their portfolios. My kids love to see their hard earned grades. They always want to keep their work in a safe place, so that they can eventually show their parents during conference meetings or parent night. Having this filing cabinet will not only bring spark in their eyes, but make it easier for them to locate their folder for keepsake. It will also allow me to easily find their folder and track their progress work throughout the year.
It’s the little things that make kids want to learn!
This filing cabinet will be a great addition to our classroom. I believe students should be able to keep their work from the school year to show their family, but also be able to see how much growth they have made since day one.
