My students need privacy folders when they are doing independent work so students can feel confident in their work and feel less peer pressure for others to view their work.

My Students

I enjoy seeing students develop or continue a love of learning while helping them reach their full potential. I love watching my students embrace a challenge of learning something new while maintaining a “I Can” attitude! It is so important for them to learn this at an early age!

I have a very diverse classroom, which includes about a 40% stemming from free and reduced lunch.

I teach in an excellent community where parents love to be involved in the lives of the students!

My Project

The privacy folders will help all students produce individual work while giving me a chance to really evaluate a student's true ability. When students are taking quizzes, tests, or doing any type of assessment, they will use these privacy folders so a student's work can truly remain an individual endeavor while giving students confidence that their answers will remain between the students and me. This will also help me identify student weaknesses and intervene quickly!

I feel that students sometimes lack confidence to adequately answer assignments or assessments because they fear their work may be seen by others.

Some might feel their work is "not right" and may not have the confidence to answer for fear a classmate may see that they are not right.
