Printmaking And Self Portraits

Help me give my students a printmaking lesson using real printmaking materials. I would like my students to make self-portraits using printmaking supplies and printmaking tools that real artists use.

My Project

My project is a self-portrait printmaking project using real printmaking tools. I would love to show my students the fun and cool ways that printmaking can help them express their creativity while they learn about Printmaking techniques. Students will feel like real artists as they use the art materials that real artists use.

I feel that these materials will increase their motivation for the art process.

I would also like my students to learn how art can be healing and transformative during difficult times. Students will create a self-portrait which captures the ways they are feeling during COVID. They will also create a portrait that shows them after they participate in healthy activities.
