My Students
"Everyday starts a new page in your story, make today a great one!"
My students come from a low economic/high poverty school district, where 100 percent of the students receive free breakfast and lunch.
My students face several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite these challenges each day no matter what they have faced the day before, my adorable 1st and 2nd graders walk into our classroom full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. My goal is for my students to gain the confidence to soar through learning, I want my students to not only know that I believe in them but to learn to believe in themselves, and that they can accomplish anything they set their mind to.
My Project
We are a 1st and 2nd Grade Bridge Class with many students with various needs. I believe it is important to teach the way each child learns and to provide each child with the tools that match their individual needs.
As a teacher I am constantly creating various resources for children and a classroom printer would help me to provide these to the students especially at a at-needed basis.
With a printer I can print and create differentiated materials for reading, writing, and math use.
With a printer students will also be able to print projects, resources, published writing, and research.
