This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are 7th and 8th grade Middle School Family and Consumer Science (Home Economics) students in Louisiana. My students are from a very low socioeconomic area.
My students come to school with a desire to learn new life skills in my class.
They meet me at the door asking what we are doing today! The students are so eager to learn. My students see school as a place of refuge from their life sometimes. I want to make it a great place every day!
My Project
My students love to be creative and use the computer to create projects. They also love to do research and use the information to create posters and other projects to teach others about the live skills they are learning in class. This ink will not only help them do that but it will also help me to create posters and other learning aids for my classroom and students. Most of my students learn more when they can see and touch illustrations of the topics we discuss. This ink would be such a blessing to our classroom and the students I teach.
