My Students

I teach a wonderful group of 20 first graders! They are energetic and fun! They love learning new information and strive on a daily basis to make their best better.

In this class, we build a community around what we have in common and our shared experiences.

While supporting 21st-century learning, we embrace culture and language and celebrate individuality through collaboration, critical thinking, and innovation. With a deep desire to learn, these practices and values will develop and strengthen our community.

Our school has a large free and reduced lunch population. Many of these students face setbacks, but that does not stop them from wanting to come to school to learn, succeed and feel loved every day!

My Project

The students in my classroom learn best through engaging and meaningful activities. My goal is to provide those meaningful moments by creating and printing bright, colorful and fun centers for them to use. I want to give my students every opportunity to learn and even have fun while doing it!

My students see the world around them in color and I would love to bring a little color into our classroom.

With this project, my students will get a new printer and ink to use in the classroom. With a color printer, the possibilities are endless! I will be able to use the color printer to create engaging activities and centers for my little learners.
