I strive to make my classroom as inclusive and diverse as possible. Representation in the classroom helps my students feel like they are a part of the community and the family I build within my classroom.
I teach 4th grade in a Title I school, where more than 80% of the students receive free and reduced-price lunch and more than 40% are English language learners.
Our students face difficulties in and outside of school and I want to make our classroom a place where they can thrive.
My Project
My students use technology daily. There are many projects they complete in Google classroom that they would love to print. My students do their writing, work on projects, and do research in Google classroom. Many times students add pictures in their projects.
We need a color printer so students can print their work.
Having the ability to print off a color printer will give their work a better effect. If we had a color printer in our classroom, student would be able to print their projects. We could also use this printer to print brag tags to celebrate their goals and accomplishments.
