My Students

Our school is a beautiful rural Vermont school nestled at the base of Mount Ascutney! We pride ourselves in serving the families of the Brownsville community with place-based outdoor education utilizing the land surrounding our school including but not limited to the land on the mountain as well!

With new precautions set in place for schools, reopening ABS is working to keep staff & students healthy & safe!

My Project

Teachers at ABS are masters at flexibility, a great skill to model for their students! With many new restrictions set in place for everyone's health & safety, we are looking to upgrade teachers' access to printing capabilities!

These printers would allow every teacher to have access to a printer in their room to service lesson needs!

These lessons will range from handwriting activities for Kindergarten students to social studies lessons for 5th & 6th graders & anything in between!

Many times when working outside, students will bring their clipboards & nature journals to draw a picture of what they notice has changed in their sit spots! These printers will allow teachers to have access to printing materials for students!

As we have virtual days throughout the school year, these printers will serve as a way to have quick access to generate work that students will perform in the comfort of their home!
