Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

These fun-loving, inquisitive kindergartners want to know everything and do everything.

Their confidence and desire to explore, along with their eagerness to learn and try new things is so refreshing! Because of this, I strive every day to provide my students with experiences that will help them grow academically, physically, and emotionally. I want them to see learning as a tool that will take them on a variety of adventures!

My Project

We have been learning virtually since the beginning of the school year. Every three weeks, we create packets for our students to use at home. I usually add to the packets that the school prints by printing extra activities and making sure that the packets are divided up by each date. Because I add to what we have the school print, I usually print work from my classroom printer. I have been working from school the past few months, but in January, I will begin working from home.

The ink cartridges will help me to not use all of my personal ink up at home when printing packets.

Because I won't be at school, I won't be able to print from my classroom like I was in the past. The ink cartridges will allow me to continue to provide my students with the work necessary to make learning fulfilling and fun at home virtually.
