I teach an amazing group of first graders in Los Angeles. My students are beginning to become exceptional readers. My school is a higher poverty level, but there is no limit to learning with the right resources. My students receive free breakfast daily, and over 32% of the student population receives free or reduced-priced lunch.
My students love when we have the chance to work with technology, but we currently don't have a way to print their colorful projects.
Having a color printer will be a fantastic resource in our classroom.
My students love to work on many projects during our school year. My students get especially excited when we are able to use computers for some of our projects. Unfortunately, my students have only been able to share their electronic portfolios of work during presentations with our classroom projector. I have requested a color printer, photo paper, and ink cartridges so my students can share their work throughout the year on bulletin boards and in class.
Having color prints to share with classmates, parents, and peers will be a wonderful resource.
